SUMMER - Outdoor Luau Party

Outdoor Luau is my favorite party to plan because they are colorful and festive.  You can spend so much or so little without leaving the fun behind.

Luau Grass Skirt and flower bra for the host.  You can wrap the grass skirt to a chair as accent. Size 32”x32” for adult and 24”x24” for kid.  99 cents each at Dollar Tree Store.

·        Personalized Message in the bottle invitation or party favor.  (Print your own stickers.  Download sticker template).

Avery Label 2"x4"

Colored paper parasols.  Around $ 6 each at Asian Ideas.  If you use the parasols for decoration, substitute them with colored balloon lanterns due to the price.  99 cents each at Dollar Tree Store.

·        Add a little twist to your food and drink with orchid or straws accented with colorful tropical fold-out honeycomb decorations.  99 cents per 18-ct at Dollar Tree Store.

Eye-catcher centerpiece you can make your own.  Use any broadleaf, tall glass vase, orchids and food coloring.

·        Kid activity to keep kids busy.  Idea from Family Fun.

Thongs for name tag.  Just write the name in magic marker, add a chain or ribbon to make necklace.  Line them up alphabetically on a table near the entrance.  99 cents per pair at Dollar Tree Store.

·        Hula Skirt Trash Can’ cover !  It’s a party essential!  Size 32" x 27".   $ 4.99  each at Oriental Trading.

Raffia table skirt surely bring Hawaii to your party.  $ 9.33 at Oriental Trading.

·        Colorful Leis to greet your guests - this is always a nice gesture and a traditional way of saying Aloha.  Leis also great for decorating tables and chairs.  99 cents for 4 leis at Dollar Tree Store.

Cupcakes with marshmallow flower or orchid toppings.

Don’t forget to play some island music, place lots of candles and have bright color foods.
